Discovery Day Care is a New York State licensed facility offering quality child care services for children aged 18 months to 12 years. The classroom environment provides children with age-appropriate materials and a variety of activities that stimulate their natural desire to discover and learn. The outdoor play area has fenced-in playgrounds for toddlers and preschoolers and a separate play area for school-age children. Center staff utilize a research-based curriculum with daily activities in social development, language and literacy, creative representation, music, movement, logic and mathematics. Children enjoy the active learning, or “hands-on” approach, implemented in our classrooms! |
