Text Box: Head Start is a preschool education program that 
prepares children for Kindergarten.
 
Head Start also provides comprehensive services in the    areas of health, nutrition, disabilities, mental health, and family services.  Transportation is available within designated areas.
 
Head Start believes parents are a child’s first and most important teacher.  Head Start staff and parents work together to help children have a successful, fun, learning experience.
 
The Head Start program is at no cost to those who qualify.

Head Start offers part-day and full day classes.  Head Start provides    services for all nine school districts including:  Fulton, Oswego, Phoenix, Central Square, Williamstown, Mexico, Hannibal, Pulaski and Sandy Creek.
