Family Planning provides medical and education services to people in need of family planning care. Services include:

physical examinations and laboratory tests
Family planning counseling and birth control
Pregnancy tests and
counseling
Gynecological care, Pap tests, breast exams
HIV
testing and counseling
Screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
Infertility screening and counseling
Reproductive medical exams for men
Safer
sex counseling
Patient education
Medical referral
Community education
Emergency
Contraception
Sliding fee scale to zero fee. Even if you are enrolled in a Medicaid managed care program, you can receive services at Family Planning clinics with no referral. If Medicaid covered you for your last pregnancy, you may be eligible for two additional years of Family Planning coverage even if you no longer have Medicaid. Call for information on schedules and for an appointment.

Planning Extension Program (FPEP)
The Family Planning Extension Program (FPEP) provides up to 26 months of additional access to family planning services for women who were on Medicaid while they were pregnant, but subsequently lost Medicaid coverage when the pregnancy ended.

Planning Benefit Program (FPBP)
Medicaid eligibility for family planning services to individuals with incomes at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level was expanded several years ago. Men and women who are not eligible for Medicaid and who meet income guidelines can receive comprehensive family planning services through the Family Planning Benefit Program.
