The Day Habilitation Program

Day Habilitation (referred to as Day Hab) is a program designed for MR/DD individuals as an alternative work program.  Day Hab operates on two separate levels:  Site-Based or Without Walls.

  • The Site Based Day Hab is located at the YMCA in Fulton.  Consumers attend     programs as a group at the YMCA.  These consumers are offered a variety of community outings and/or on-site activities.

 

 

  • Day Hab Without Walls consumers receive one-to-one programming in their home.

 

Both aspects of Day Hab services provide individualized goals and opportunities for consumers to volunteer and participate in enriching activities.  Day Hab programming is offered during daytime hours Monday through Friday.  However, there is the opportunity to receive services in the evening if the consumer and their planning team agree that this would be most beneficial to the consumer.
