Our Transportation Services Include…

OPT – (Oswego County Public Transit)  – Public Fixed Route Deviation:

Open to the public, operates on a schedule of daily bus runs from various points in the rural community.  24 hours in advance request for route deviation up to 3/4-mile, same day route deviation may be permitted.  This service connects with Centro bus services.

On-Demand Shared Ride Service:

Open to the Public for various essential needs such as Medical, Pharmacy, Grocery etc.  Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. (OCO) will assist with your transportation needs within Oswego County where Fixed Route Public Transportation (Centro & OPT) doesn’t operate.  Depending on the transportation program service assigned, rates are determined on your trip purpose and destination. Let OCO coordinate your transportation needs via our Accessible vehicles.  48-hour trip reservation required, Monday through Friday.  Call and discuss your transportation needs:  315.598.1514 or 1.877.484.3287 (1.877.4thebus). 

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
Transportation to and from medical appointments for individuals deemed eligible under Oswego County’s Medicaid Program.

ACCESS Oswego (Brochure)
ACCESS Oswego is a curb-to-curb transportation service for the general public, elderly and persons with special needs in Oswego County. Service is only available when other public transportation is not readily available in your area. This service can be used for medical, social or personal business. This is transportation program provided by Oswego County Mobility Management. For ACCESS Oswego County ride reservations, call OCO Transportation at 315-598-1514 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. (Oswego County news Release March 15, 2024)

Medicaid Transportation
OCO is a certified provider of Medicaid transportation. When you call the regional coordination office (1-855-733-9395) to schedule your Medicaid transport, be sure to ask for Oswego County Opportunities to provide your ride.
