Sr. Program Manager - SAF Residential
Level 4 - Start Rate $18.91 per hour
Full-time - 37.5 hours/week with flexibility required
Monday through Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility

Crisis & Development Services has announced the availability of a Sr. Program Manager position to oversee SAF’s emergency residential and transitional housing programs. The Program Manager will oversee the provision of services at internal and external locations, provides full staff supervision and is responsible for performance management of program staff.
The selected candidate will work in collaboration with other service providers to provide coordinated services to individuals and families. The Program Manager is responsible for program certification, development, and outcomes that are in accordance with state, federal and local regulations as well as applicable agency policies and procedures. Oversight of the initial contact and intake process during hours outside of normal business hours and on-call crisis intervention on a 24 hour basis is also required.
Requirements for the position include the ability to work effectively with individuals and families in crisis, have a non-judgmental client-centered approach to services, knowledge of domestic and sexual violence, counseling techniques and successfully complete Crisis Hotline training. Must possess the ability to be flexible with work schedule; participate in on call responsibilities; lift heavy items and negotiate stairs; have excellent inter-personal skills; and be able to monitor and direct the work of others. Additionally, the position requires that the candidate possess a NYS Driver’s License and has access to a reliable, properly insured vehicle for travel and transport and be willing/able to operate an Agency vehicle.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3 years related experience including experience in leadership and working with women’s issues; or Associate’s degree and at least 5 years directly related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
