Full Time 37.5 hours/week with much flexibility required to meet program needs
Monday through Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location: Based out of Arbor House in Hannibal
OCO’s Alcoholism Program has announced the availability of the full time position for a Chemical Dependence Program Coordinator. Position oversees the alcoholism services component of the Residential Services unit in accordance with Program and Agency guidelines, Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, and Health Department Regulations.
The selected candidate will perform a variety of professional and administrative duties to ensure efficient operation of the program. Provides full, direct supervision to direct care staff, manages the operation of the program, halfway house and supportive apartments.
The selected candidate must be have working knowledge of the principles of Alcoholism treatment, county philosophies, and programming for the Alcoholism population; be able to plan and direct the work of others; be a good leader and facilitator; represent the Agency in the community effectively and have a good driving record with access to a properly insured, reliable vehicle.
Minimum qualifications for the position include a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences; three to five years related experience that includes supervisory responsibilities; and must be considered a Qualified Health Care Professional, (CASAC Preferred). Mandated Criminal Background check will be completed.
