‘Circles of Security’ Highlighted at OCO Annual Meeting

Oswego County Opportunities welcomed guest speakers SUNY Oswego Associate Professor and Department Chair Dr. Matthew Dykas, a developmental psychologist whose expertise and theoretical interests lie in the area of children's and adolescents' social and emotional development, and James Hilts from OCO’s Family Case Management Program at OCO’s Annual Meeting held recently at The Fairway Manor in Fulton. The two spoke of the Circles of Security Parenting program, an evidence based prevention program to break the cycle of abuse and neglect and attain positive outcomes for children, adults, and families.
