October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Program Specialist Sage Chase and Advocate Laura Robinson place purple flags at Cayuga Community College’s Fulton Campus. The purple flag display represents the more than 500 survivors of domestic violence that SAF provided services to in 2022. The purple flag display is one of several that SAF has created to raise awareness of domestic violence in Oswego County. If you, or someone you know, is a victim or survivor of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence, stalking, elder abuse, or trafficking, please call the Crisis Hotline at (315) 342-1600. The hotline is available 24 hours a day and is free and confidential.
