Community Schools

A community school is a set of partnerships between the school and other community resources that allows the school to become the center of the community open to everyone through extended hours. Improved student learning, stronger families and healthier communities are a result of an integrated approach that focuses on academics, health and social services, youth and community development and community engagement.
