Become an OCO Board Member – Application Deadline is February 4, 2026

Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) is an anti-poverty agency that works with our community to improve the quality of life for all. The OCO Board of Directors is seeking people who care about their community and those we serve. Apply today to become a volunteer Board Member at https://www.oco.org/oco-board-opportunities/. We welcome applications from candidates of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages*, abilities, and identities. The Board encourages the following individuals to apply:
- Those who have faced poverty and its effects
- Those with first-hand experience with developmental disabilities or living in an Individual Residential Alternative (IRA)
- Those in the mental health community
- Current or former Head Start parent
- Those with legal or banking expertise
- Those living in rural areas
* Applicants must be 18 years or older and reside or work within the community OCO serves. Past OCO employees are eligible if at least two years have passed since their “in good standing” separation. Current OCO employees are not eligible to serve on the Board.
