OCO Partners with Oswego County Early Childhood Alliance to host a Diaper Drive

OSWEGO COUNTY, NY – Oswego County Opportunities is honored to partner with the Oswego County Early Childhood Alliance to host a Diaper Drive throughout the month of September to support the Oswego County Diaper Bank.
Community members are encouraged to donate diapers and pull-ups to help local families facing diaper insecurity. According to the campaign, 40% of households with children under age four report experiencing diaper insecurity.
The most-needed items include:
- Diapers, sizes 4-8
- Pull-Ups, sizes 2T-6T
- Open packages are accepted
Donation boxes are available at:
- OCO Main Office, 239 Oneida St., Fulton (Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
- OCO Services Office, 10 George St., Oswego (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
National Diaper Need Awareness Week takes place September 14-20. Organizers note that a donation of $10 can provide approximately 50 diapers for children in need. Community members may also make a monetary donation by scanning the Venmo QR code on the flyer.
